Last night we met at St. Joseph's cemetery for a program on ancestors.
_______Various particapants dressed in costume and took their places at the gravesites of their ancestors or other former parish members, and told their stories. (Great fun for the genealogist!) I took photos and posted more on facebook. Here Tim is telling of Patrick Minnihan, his and Jerry's Great Grandfather. Patrick was a parishioner and good contributor when the Church was built. Tim pointed out other sites where some of Patrick's descendants had been buried. The weekend of Sept. 18-20 is the final celebration, with discussion, historical display, Church tours, Mass and banquet.
