Home from CR

We stayed with Joan and Michael's girls while they headed for warmer weather.  Games after supper.

Saturday we drove up to CF to see Hilary and tour her area. (Kitchen)

Bedroom, which reminded us very much of Joan's first apartment in Fort Dodge.

We had lunch at Mulligan's, with a dessert stop at Scratch Bakery.

Spencer

Saturday there was a garage tour in Spencer.  First stop was to see Abbey at her apartment. 

Next she took us to tour her classroom.  She loves her life in Spencer.

First stop on the garage tour was the Okoboji Classic Car Museum in Milford.  Many cars, but it was painted to look like main street from 1960,  Spencer, Iowa.  Jerry loved the cars, I loved the artwork.

The artist, Jack Rees, was at work and enjoyed visiting.  This is a flat wall, behind one of the glass windows lining the 'street'.  They had little setin areas inside the stores fronts.

The next hall, showing 1960 Arnold's Park.  Work is still in progress. 

Also many private garages on the tour.

Basketball Season Almost Over

Tucking in shirt continues.  Second to last game,  last game will be Saturday, but we will be gone. 

Why does the other team always seem taller?  (The other GC guys shirts are out.  They are supposed to keep them tucked in.  Hope Calvin gets tighter pants next season.)

This guy is even taller.  We think Calvin is tall until he gets on the basketball court.  Space to grow before next year.  I think he had 8 points this game.  They won.

Another win.  This time a team that beat them last week.
