Honoring the Graduate

Hil graduated from University of Iowa Saturday morning.  Thefamily were there to cheer her on.  Dan and Nancy hosted a get together at their house in the afternoon.  Here Hil is opening a Wood duck plate.  (Wood ducks hold a special place in her heart!)

Wood ducks are special to David too.

Calvin keeps track of all activity.

The boys were up too early!!!!  And the day was long from over.  We ate at Phat Daddy's in Marengo and then Pop and I headed west.  The remainder of the group went over to Koszta. 

Teresa had always talked about Rolle Bolle, from when she taught at Belle Plaine.  The place was still there and much the same.  This competitive group had a good time. (And they were told the teachers are still over a couple times per year.) (Thanks for the picture, Dan)

And not to forget Bentley.  No longer a puppy.
