| First at bat at the first 7th Grade ballgame. He had a real good day. Hit the ball all 4 @ bats. Play the whole A game at center field. Caught a fly for the first out of the game. And they won both the A and B games. |

| Happy Memorial Day Everyone! | It is a quiet day for us today. We have had a busy weekend starting Friday afternoon. First Nancy arrived, then Dan and Bill soon followed, finishing their bike ride from Williamsburg. They had a busy weekend with other biking friends at the first Annual Bike Festival in Jefferson on Saturday. Now we have been on our own since noon yesterday. Pop is gaining strength after being sick all week. UTI's are no fun. |

| Hil graduated from University of Iowa Saturday morning. Thefamily were there to cheer her on. Dan and Nancy hosted a get together at their house in the afternoon. Here Hil is opening a Wood duck plate. (Wood ducks hold a special place in her heart!) |

| The boys were up too early!!!! And the day was long from over. We ate at Phat Daddy's in Marengo and then Pop and I headed west. The remainder of the group went over to Koszta. |

| We met Marge, Linda and Paul for breakfast at the Uptown Cafe this morning. Marge came to celebrate her 50th High School class reunion tonight. Missed you, Ruth! |

| Calvin had two games in Ames today. I got to the afternoon game. Nice sunny day. Not at all like the game two weeks ago. They won one and lost one. |
